MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Research major gifts prospects and prepare in depth profiles for the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving, in support of developing a robust pipeline of prospective donors. Guide preparation of research profiles and prospect review meetings. Coordinate and support the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving, the Vice President of Philanthropy and the CEO in campaign planning and execution. Support the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving in creating proposals donor meetings donor relations and sending appeals, acknowledgement letters, and general correspondence in a timely fashion. Provide support for the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving through maintenance of proposal and sponsorship calendars, scheduling visits, major gifts prospect database, phone back up, file maintenance, and handling of individual donor ticketing, parking, and other VIP benefits and requests. Provide up to date reporting on fundraising progress and contacts with donors to the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving and the Vice President of Philanthropy and manage the entry of reports into the database. Work collaboratively with department members to track major, planned, estate, and endowment gifts, to ensure proper donor recognition and stewardship. Assist in planning and execution of all individual concert sponsor events as well as individual donor cultivation and stewardship events, supervise volunteers, and represent the Philanthropy team at these events. Participate in concert duty on a regular basis. Work with the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving to develop the North Carolina Symphonys planned giving program and Lamar Stringfield Society legacy group, including management of digital and hardcopy mailings. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to carry out strategies and activities to increase patron value, loyalty, and engagement.
